Thai Cuisine opened on December 21, 1988 by the Chutintaranond family of Bangkok, Thailand . Following Mom’s Sumali recipes, we have been serving truly authentic Thai food ever since. Our traditional cooking uses only fresh ingredients and imported specialty items. Throughout the years we have been voted the Best Thai Restaurant in Ithaca and we have been recognized by various publications, including “Getaways For Gourmets,” stating that we are “The best Thai food in New York State , including New York City .”
The executive chef Noi Chutintaranond is Sumali’s fourth son, and has been cooking at Thai Cuisine since its opening.
